Community Manager

The designers, studios and agencies around the awards are the audience and the supply at once. You keep that community talking - and keep the tone right while it does.

What you'd do

• Grow and moderate the community across social, newsletter replies and on-site discussion.

• Run a content calendar built on winners, jurors and what the rubric actually found.

• Answer questions and comments quickly, in a voice that sounds like the site.

• Find the designers and studios worth building a real relationship with.

What we're after

• 2+ years in community management, social or audience engagement.

• Strong written communication, and an ear for tone.

• Content calendars, scheduling tools and basic reporting are familiar.

• Genuine interest in web design, branding and the agency landscape.

Nice to have: Niche professional communities, Newsletter growth, Design literacy.

Web Design Awards has been judging the web's best work since 2014 — the curated index, the judging tools, the hiring board and the agency marketplace behind it. This role is remote, on a small distributed team.
