Managing Editor

Everything published here carries a score behind it. You own the standard copy meets before it goes out, and the calendar that keeps it going out.

What you'd do

• Plan, assign and edit the weekly coverage of newly judged winners and features.
• Hold editorial consistency across the winners index, the blog and the annual rankings.
• Work with the judging team to turn rubric scores into write-ups people will read.
• Fact-check award pages, badges and certificate text before any of it publishes.

What we're after

• You have been an editor or managing editor on a digital publication.
• Command of written English, and the speed to edit other people's work.
• An editorial calendar and a set of contributors you actually managed.
• Comfortable turning scored or ranked content into readable copy.

Nice to have: Design or technology publications, SEO for editorial, CMS publishing.
