About this design role.

Marketing for a platform whose actual product is credibility. Campaigns that bring in submissions and traffic without ever overstating what the award is.

What you'd do

• Plan and run the campaigns that grow submissions, and traffic to the index and directory.

• Own content marketing - winner spotlights, rankings, and the blog behind them.

• Run email and subscriber growth, including newsletter strategy and performance.

• Report on traffic, submissions, subscribers and engagement - and change the plan on it.

What we're after

• 4+ years marketing, with B2B, media or marketplace exposure.

• Writing and editing strong enough for designers and hiring teams both.

• Multi-channel campaigns - email, content, social - that you ran yourself.

• SEO fundamentals and content distribution are familiar ground.

Nice to have: Marketing to agencies, Awards or editorial platforms, Sponsor relationships.

Web Design Awards has been judging the web's best work since 2014 — the curated index, the judging tools, the hiring board and the agency marketplace behind it. This role is remote, on a small distributed team.
